“I just hope they gain perspective when they hear this song”, roars G. Selph on his latest single “In the Air”. Born on April 1, 1990 and hailing from Griffin, Georgia, G. Selph wants the world to experience his perspective on life and the struggles that come along with it. He often describes his flow as him “rapping the blues”. G. Selph credits Master P, Eminem, and Outkast as some of his musical influences. He was inspired to become a rapper after watching Master P’s music video for “Make em Say Uhh”. G. Selph carried that dream with him until 2013 when he connected with his childhood friend King Elway and recorded his first single. This union led him to be apart of the official K.R.E.A.M. Team’s roster. In 2016, G. Selph made a major decision and moved to California to expand his musical career.

G. Selph officially released his EP “In the Air” on Monday, March 12, 2018. He describes this EP as a “novela” that is built around the track “In the Air”. His influence for the track came from Beanie Sigel’s “Feel it in the Air”. G. Selph wanted to express the day to day struggles that many go through in the tracks on “In the Air”. He encourages listeners to “check” themselves when they are not headed in the right direction or surround themselves with people that will do it for them. The track “What I Have to Say” explains who G. Selph is as an individual and the experiences that drive his musical craft.

G. Selph is currently working on new music and plans on releasing another EP later this year.
